Geoffrey B. Coon, Founder, President and CEO of Resume Platform, has always had a fond interest in writing. Having been raised in the Southwest, it was a natural move to attend the University of Arizona. After receiving his Bachelor’s in English and Creative Writing, Mr. Coon began his career in sports journalism, earning the accolades of being published on NBCSports.com, YahooSports.com and Rivals.com. In 2007, recognizing the change in the media industry, he decided to pursue further higher education in the field. As a graduate of DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois, Mr. Coon holds a Master of Arts degree in New Media Studies. It was in Chicago that he learned not only the value of a digital media presence, but how to leverage a variety of outlets to create a personal brand. |

| It was after accepting the position of Director of New Media at a leading career services firm that he became truly aware of the impact a professionally written resume can have on your career. After becoming a Certified Professional Resume Writer, he led the company’s Webfolio Division to sustained success, establishing new writing standards for the industry. Mr. Coon founded Resume Platform to combine his expertise in both the Career Services and New Media industries in order to give clients the best resources and put the client in the best possible position in their job search. |
